Still hoping to hit ‘the big time', this flamboyant if deluded musical comedy duo trade on their former ‘careers’ in what could loosely be described as ‘show-business’, resulting in a cabaret and variety act quite like no other...
Their funny, anarchic and cacophonous cocktail features
banging toons from the hit parade of the 80’s, 90’s, noughties and beyond, remixed like you’ve never heard them before. Or ever wanted to.
Binkie & Maud have subjected audiences to their own brand of musical comedy at Glastonbury, Latitude and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, and have appeared at Duckie, Brighton Dome, Pleasance London, Leicester Square Studio Theatre, Up the Creek and Hackney Attic, plus cabaret dives, pubs and public conveniences too numerous to mention along the way. Their previous full-length shows include Don’t Tell Mother, Who Shot Wayne Sleep? and One Night in In Little Rimming. They host the flamboyant and chaotic Karaoke at The Works at Woolwich Works every second Friday of the month (free entry).
The pair can add some (questionable) glamour to any cabaret or variety show, with a set ranging from 10 to 60 minutes of songs and lols or as hosts for any type of event.
